Family Weekend at UM Hillel

We are excited to welcome University of Miami families to UM Hillel for Family Weekend!
Whether you are a parent, sibling, grandparent, or family friend, we invite you to experience the vibrant Jewish life at UM and learn more about the meaningful opportunities UM Hillel offers students throughout the year.
Our Pre-Oneg Open House & Shabbat Dinner is the perfect chance to meet Hillel’s professional team, connect with other families, tour the Braman Miller Center, and get to know the incredible community that supports Jewish life on campus. The evening continues with Shabbat services and dinner.
Schedule of Events:
- 4:00–6:00 PM – Pre-Oneg Open House at UM Hillel
Enjoy refreshments, light bites, and informal conversation with students, staff, and fellow families. Stop by any time! - 6:00 PM – Shabbat Services at UM Hillel
Celebrate Shabbat with song, reflection, and community in a warm, welcoming environment. (No registration required) - 7:00 PM – Shabbat Dinner at UM Hillel
Join us for a delicious Shabbat Dinner — a signature part of Jewish life at UM.
