Braman Miller Center for Jewish Life is a new, state of the art Jewish venue, home to UM Hillel, Pura Vida restaurant (the only kosher dairy location). As a stand alone, modern space, BMC is a sought after community destination. Known for innovative and thought provoking programs, guest speakers, and hands-on workshops. A lot of our community partners and individuals trusted BMC to be their venue of choice for high level conferences (Miami Herald, Office of the President, Lancet Report), life cycle events, retreats.
University of Miami Hillel is a stand-alone 501c3 nonprofit organization that is fully dependent on the support of the community, which it is committed to enhance.
In the past several years, and through its close to eight decade history, University of Miami Hillel set a standard for pluralistic education, celebration of Jewish life, learning and support for Israel.
Our efforts did not go unnoticed and in December 2018, UM Hillel received the most prestigious Outstanding Campus Award by Hillel International. We have been fortunate to have been supported by community members like you, who believe in the Jewish life on campus, and want to secure Jewish future for their children, and enjoy quality experiences offered by the Braman Miller Center themselves. On Thursday, December 8, 2022, University of Miami Hillel will host our annual Casino Night to support our efforts for Jewish students on campus. The community event offers the perfect venue to share information about Jewish life on UM’s campus as well as recognize the exemplary efforts of our volunteers, foundation, corporate, and individual sponsors.
