Base Miami is aimed at engaging young adults, residing in downtown Miami.
Base Miami is a pluralistic community of graduate students, young professionals, and young families based around events in the home of a rabbi and spouse.
Base Miami offers 4-5 programs a week to allow the community to gather and experience home-based hospitality, Jewish learning, community service projects, and Shabbat and holiday meals.
Base Miami realizes that everyone is on their own Jewish journey. We serve as a resource for people to continue their own journey in whatever way best suits their individual paths and needs while finding a community in Miami.
Base Miami Programs and Services
Weekly:
- Friday night Shabbat Dinner
- Friday night Shabbat Oneg (drinks and desserts open to all)
- Saturday afternoon Board Games and Havdallah
- Monday night Text Messages (Torah class)
Monthly:
- Meditation and Mindfulness
- Holiday Programming
- SCUBA excursion and coral reef restoration
- Crafting projects
