The University of Miami Hillel is proud to offer Freshmen Fest: UM's Jewish pre-orientation program!

Our goal is to ensure that you begin your time at UM with a bit of an advantage.  by participating Freshmen Fest, you will get to move into your dorm a full day earlier before thousands of other freshmen move in, which means no crowds, no hassles, and choice of bed, etc.  You will then spend the day meeting other Jewish freshmen and upperclassmen who will show you around campus and give you the inside scoop on the academics, social scenes and whatever else is on your mind.

After participating in Freshmen Fest, you will be seeing familiar and friendly faces throughout your first weeks on campus, which will truly make you feel at home at UM right from the start.  Participants in Hillel's Freshmen retreats have come from all Jewish backgrounds, from Orthodox to those who have had no previous Jewish exposure.  We are a pluralistic organization and welcome all Jewish students regardless of level of affiliation!

Kosher Lunch and Dinner will be provided.
